First Aid Training
We can provide our First Aid training, Dental First Aid, Canine First Aid and bespoke courses throughout mainly Staffordshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire and the rest of the country. Every course attendee receives a digital certificate upon completion. All of our courses are carried out by our team of experienced medical and Fire Service professionals.
The First Aid training courses we provide are engaging and hands-on, so you’ll leave the course being able to remember what you have learned with all the skills you need to potentially save someone’s life, plus unlike many other providers we also like to make our courses as fun as possible.
Carried out at your workplace, therefore saving employees extra travel, we can deliver courses that have been risk assessed for safety for up to 12 people. Plus, we now have VR training headsets that can be used to simulate a scenario for the learners to deal with.
The type of training course you choose to participate in should be based on the following factors;
High Risk
These are environments that include engineering, assembly work, food processing, warehouses, dangerous machinery, sharp instruments, construction and chemical manufacturing
Less than 5 employees: One first aider trained in Emergency First Aid at Work
5-50 employees: Two first aiders trained in Emergency First Aid at Work or First Aid at Work
More than 50 employees: One first aider trained in First Aid at Work for every 50 employees or part thereof
Low Risk
This category includes shops, offices, hairdressers and libraries
Less than 25 employees: One first aider trained in Emergency First Aid at Work
25-50 employees: Two first aiders trained in Emergency First Aid at Work
More than 50 employees: One first aider trained in First Aid at Work for every 100 employees or part thereof
Please also remember that you may need extra first aider cover in the event of the principal first aider being on holiday or absent from work.
