Serving for 26 years in the emergency services has given me the practical skills and knowledge to bring the first aid training environment to life. Having served in the major rescue, rope rescue and water rescue teams at various locations across the West Midlands, I have an in-depth knowledge of the pre hospital environment.
Since learning First Aid as a young boy in the Cub Scouts I have always had an interest in the subject, progressing to become a First Aid and Trauma Management Instructor and over 7 years teaching First Aid and Fire Safety in the public sector.
I regularly attend Pre Hospital study days and keep up to date with current protocols.
I also have certificates in Advanced Resuscitation, Level 3 Teaching Certificate, First Aid at work, IOSH Health and Safety, Assessing and quality assuring First Aid, Entinox pain management, Adult safeguarding, a fully clear DBS check, a member of the Association of First Aiders, Heart start instructor, Member of the National Association of Emergency Medical technicians and Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support.
I pride myself on delivering enjoyable, relaxed and informative first aid training without costing the Earth.
